Bed & Breakfast

Book an overnight stay at Murray Edwards College and immerse yourself in the Women’s Art Collection. Bookings for two nights or more receive a 10% discount!

During University vacations, the College offers bed and breakfast in en suite accommodation. These are bedrooms used by students during term time, so you are getting a real student experience – with some additional comforts, such as in-room refreshments and toiletries. All rooms have free WiFi Internet access, fresh linen and towels.

During your stay, you will have access to the Art Collection throughout the College, including enjoying breakfast in the iconic Dome Dining Hall surrounded by some of works by renowned artists. Guests can pick up a tour guide from the Porters’ Lodge. The site is peaceful and inspiring, where guests are encouraged to relax and ‘walk on the grass’ in the informal, pretty gardens. Gardens feature sculptures by Barbara Hepworth, Naomi Press and more.

Located near to the College is the wonderful Kettles’ Yard and there are a further 30+ museums in Cambridge to enjoy during your stay, including the Fitzwilliam Museum. As well as boutique and high street shopping, an array of restaurants, bars and clubs and of course, punting on the River Cam.

If you are planning a party, special occasion or business event this is also possible to do at Murray Edwards College, surrounded by the Women’s Art Collection.

For more information or to book your stay, please visit the College Events website or make an enquiry.

Please note, the College is in operation year-round, with conferences, events and summer schools taking place in vacations. Where access to the collection is restricted by an event, we would endeavour to make this clear on the relevant dates on the B&B booking system however, this cannot always be guaranteed.
