Hamilton will discuss her 2016-17 exhibition at Hepworth Wakefield responding to and using the Kettle’s Yard Collection, and her exhibition Lichen! Libido! The US show was supported by collector Valeria Napoleone whose XX projects support women artists and whose personal collection focuses solely on women.
The panel will be chaired by Caroline Douglas from the Contemporary Art Society who works with Napoleone on VN XX CAS.
The event will be introduced by New Hall Art Collection Curator, Eliza Gluckman. The New Hall Art Collection at Murray Edwards College is the largest collection of works by women in Europe and supports new work and learning about women artists.
