Liz Rideal

Liz Rideal is a British artist and writer. She is Professor of Fine Art at the Slade School of Fine Art, University College London. In the mid 80s she became known for her large-scale public artworks made using a photo-booth. Restless (1997) is derived from an original collage (approx. 20cm square) made with four photographic strips created in an automatic photo-booth.

Rideal’s work is in many public collections including Victoria & Albert Museum, Tate Modern and the British Museum.
