Charmian Pollok

Charmian Pollok specialised in printmaking at Glasgow School of Art where she also made her first, tentative attempts at making her own papers. Over the years since graduating in 1992, using her own handmade papers has become her main medium of expression, not always simply as a carrier for print but as a medium in their own right and she has developed considerable expertise in making papers from native plants as well as from the more usual fibres.
