Caroline Hoskin

Caroline Hoskin trained at Reigate and Harvard.  Her large early abstractions were influence by ethnic pattern-making, in particular Islamic and indigenous North American.   her first solo exhibition, Indian Nights, Indian Days, was of large oil paintings on paper based on the landscape of India.  Her next solo exhibition, The Story of Night, of large oil paintings on canvas, reflected her living and working in the last mill tower in Norfolk.

Caroline Hoskin’s work is in Leicester City Gallery and University of East Anglia, as well as private collections.  She teaches an advanced painting class for mature students, and is a curator for a gallery in Norwich.
